Re: What brands of thread? Most of my thread is Madiera and it works great. I've also got quite a bit of Sulky. It also works well. I can't really tell the difference. The only time I've had thread problems (knock on wood) is with some inexpensive metallic silver thread but after I changed my needle to a new metallic needle even that went well. Maybe I've just been lucky but it seems thread problems are more a matter of needles and tension problems more than what brand the thread is. I'm reserving final judgement, I haven't tried all the brands of thread. |
