2044 2046 or JanomeI am in the market for a new machine. I have had a Singer Machine that I bought when I first got married 30 years ago. It finally conked out and me and I decided it was time to step up (or should I say "sew up") in the world. After looking at several machines I am now confused on what I want. I looked at a 2044 and really liked what I saw as far as stiches available etc. It was priced at almost $1800 though, and wondered if that was a little high? Anyone know?? My sister-in-law recommended a Janome, does anyone know which one might do comparable things as the 2044. I appreciate any help you can give me!
