Re: 2044 2046 or Janome I don't know anything about Janome as they are not around in Iceland. But I have a Pfaff 2046, which I got after having 2024 for three months. I really like it. I posted a question on another thread about tread jam in the spool mechanism. I took it to the dealer's repairshop, the repairman taught me how to solve it in an instant so I can fix it on my own. It actually has very little to do with the type of machine exept that it is electronic. The one I had before was all manual. Af for the price, my machine costs the equalivent of $1560 right now because the dollar is at its lowest. The dollar was sky high in Iceland a year ago or so and then the machine would have cost $1150. Right now your 2046 would cost 115% in mine is 100%. I think I would buy the 2046 again! |
