I am new to this forum. I just got the 7570 a couple days ago for a fantastic deal, but it is missing only the pcd software! Everything else is there, just not the software.

Can anyone send me the pcd software in a zipfile via email? I'd also accept a cd, and can pay for s/h.

If anyone can help me please email me!

Quilt Expression 4 and Elastic Thread

I'm wanting to use elastic thread in my Quilt Expression 4. The fabric is a lightweight knit, and I want to have it shirred/gatherered down a long length to make a scarf. I've hand wound about 5 different bobbins, trying to wind not too tight, nor too loose.

I've messed with the tension (I only know how to adjust the tension in settings, not sure how to adjust bobbin tension. I've messed wi...

7570 motherboard

7570 motherboard needs replacing. I have been quoted Australian$515-35. Machine has two boards and this is not the one that usually goes?. Is this exorbitant? Should I proceed with repair?
I've hardly used embroidery in last 5 years and have just joined patchwork group, so could probably buy new machine sufficient for my needs for about the same price as the repair. Any suggestions?

1/4" Quilting Foot QE4

Hi All,

I read here some time back that the 1/4" quilting foot that came with the QE4 was not so good, however one from an earlier machine was better.
Does anyone remember the number of that foot?

Has anyone ever tried monofilliment thread to FMQ? My needle keeps snapping after every 10 minutes! I have the QE 4.0. I love this machine for stitch in the ditch (got that foot!) and piecing, and I think the IDT is great, but it's pretty quirky for FMQ. Or, of course, it is probably the operator...

Hooping Board

I had recorded a program which demonstrated a "hooping board"
Very simple looking device that supports the hoop while hooping,

I Googled about 10,000 sites to no avail.

Went back to check the recording and apparently - thinking I was so smart[#-o] and apparently deleted it[X-(]

Has anyone else seen this - - if so WHERE?

I found the little tool for light bulbs (for my 2030) -- I didn't have one for the 7570. So I turn the machine over and realize the 7570 bulb is much larger -- and the tool won't work.

I can get my fingers on the bulb -- but I'm not sure if I should just pull is straight out -- or if it twists.

I don't want to just force it -- I'll end up with a much more serious problem than a burnt out bu...

I need help from the computer experts out there. I've purchased a new computer loaded with Windows 7. I downloaded Embird, put in all my passwords and it says it's in my computer. When I try to open the program it appears that it's trying to open but then disappears. I thought perhaps restarting the computer would help but Embird is causing interference in shutting down. I have to tell it to ...

I can't see the bottom boxes for some reason (I see lines and know I can click in that area...just can't see what they are for) and was wondering Normal or is there an adjustment somewhere?

Problem with Pfaff 332, shuttle maybe hitting the bobbin case?

Hi there, i´m a new guy on this forum and i have a bit of a problem.

I have a Pfaff 332, and it seems that the shuttle is hitting the bobbin casing.. The problem occurs always when the shuttle is in certain position.. When i turn the wheel manually, applying an even amount of force all the time, it almost feels like it gets stuck when it reaches this position.. I have to apply more force to get...

I was trying to embroider on a denim shirt fabric lightweight jacket. I think I should have ironed stablizer to back side to keep it from puckering before I embroidered. Design was sewing out BAD so I shaved off what I had done, only to thin the denim in couple spots. I figured I would iron on interfacing, sew back over the area and it would be ok...NOT. It put a hole in the weak area. Ok, this is...
