Had to post after reading all the others. Sewed with a Pfaff 1222 for 20 years, no problems, a real heavy duty workhorse. Finally upgraded to a 7570 (still a bit intimidated, it's a huge leap from the 1222). Just added a 2044 which is an easy dream machine. I have to add my raves about this machine to all the others posted on this board. A real treat which will last a long time. (I got it to take to classes and the cabin.)
